Citizen’s Assembly on Electoral Reform

The first task for members of the Citizens’ Assembly in 2004 was to learn about, and study, electoral systems that are in use around the world. That includes the one now in use in B.C.

This “Learning Phase” ran for six full weekends, from January to March. The sessions were held at the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, 580 West Hastings Street, in downtown Vancouver. Here is an overview of the Learning Phase.

They posted the educational materials used.  To accompany all this, they also offer from time to time other educational material of interest.  All of these materials can be accessed on their website.
